Last year it was announced that Age of Empires: World Domination would be making its way onto mobile devices, but unfortunately that did not happen. However if you are a fan of RTS games, then you might be pleased to learn that Microsoft and KLab Games has officially released the game for both iOS and Android devices.

However we should point out that the game’s release for iOS is still a soft launch at the moment and at this time of posting, it is only available in the Singapore and Philippines app stores, at least according to reports. We expect that it will eventually find its way to other markets so if you don’t see it listed in your iTunes App Store, fret not as presumably it will be launched in your markets in due time.

For those unfamiliar with the game, basically this is an RTS title from the Age of Empires franchise. This puts RTS gameplay onto your mobile phone, which we can only imagine might not offer up the same level of finesse or micro afforded by a keyboard and mouse, but if you love RTS games it could be worth checking out.

It was developed by Japan-based KLab Games and it is a free-to-play title, so expect in-app purchases from the game. If you like what you see in the trailer above, then head on over to the Google Play Store for the free download.
