assassin's creed syndicate pcUbisoft has not shied away from the fact that they plan on releasing an Assassin’s Creed game every year, at least until fans get sick of it. What that means is that the franchise has grown pretty big and pretty fast, unlike other developers such as Blizzard where after only 20 years, the Diablo franchise only has 6 titles.

That being said, this also means that there are several older Assassin’s Creed titles that would be ripe for a remaster and it seems that’s what Ubisoft has in mind, at least according to a recent domain registration. The registration is for “Assassin’s Creed Collection” and was spotted by a NeoGAF forum user (via Windows Central).

From its name alone it sounds like some kind of bundle that Ubisoft plans to put together, possibly a collection of older Assassin’s Creed titles that they might remaster into HD for newer consoles. As Windows Central points out, there are several titles of Assassin’s Creed that aren’t available for current-gen consoles.

This includes Assassin’s Creed, Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed Revelations, Assassin’s Creed 3, and Assassin’s Creed Rogue. Of course it’s still too early to tell what exactly Ubisoft has in mind, so the idea of it possibly being a HD remake is just speculation for now, but either way we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more information.
