If there is one thing you’ve got to love about Blizzard is that they are constantly working on updates for their games, as opposed to some other developers who might be more interested in creating their next big title. Diablo 3, despite not having a new expansion announced at BlizzCon 2015 like many had hoped for, is still getting patched until today.

Now you might recall that last month Blizzard announced the next patch 2.4.0 that is expected to roll out by the end of the year. This is a pretty significant patch because it does introduce a new zone in the form of Greyhollow Island, and recently the folks at Blizzard have put out a short video which gives gamers a preview of what they can expect.

The zone, just like the rest of Diablo 3, is very gloomy and as expected, gamers can look forward to new types of monsters to fight against. However note that Greyhollow Island is only available in Adventure Mode, presumably because this zone doesn’t really have anything to do with the main story of the game, but we’re not complaining.

Apart from the introduction of the new zone, Patch 2.4.0 for Diablo 3 will also bring about the usual host of bug fixes and improvements made to the game, a new mode in the form of Set Dungeon, Empowered Rifts, new Legendaries, and more.
