2877887-fallout4_trailer_end_1433355589We know that to date, Bethesda has pushed out a couple patches for Fallout 4. This is expected as we can only imagine that the game probably has a fair bit of bugs that were only discovered upon launch, and Bethesda working quickly to patch the game is only natural. However it seems that for some reason, some regions in the world are being ignored.

According to a post on NeoGAF, it seems that gamers in Taiwan are not receiving the updates for the PS4 version of the game. One poster writes, “I keep checking with my friends here in Taiwan, and none of us have received the day-one update, nor have we gotten the more recent (and apparently essential) 1.02.”

The post made its way onto Reddit where apparently many users have acknowledged that this is an issue for Bethesda and other companies, especially when it comes to Region 3 territories. For example one user says, “This unfortunately isn’t new for Bethesda. Skyrim for PC is on version 1.9.32 in most regions, but is stuck on on 1.9.31 in Japan, Russia, and some other regions.”

Note that this only seems to affect the PS4 version of the game. Gamers on the PC and on the Xbox One are not having any issues with updates, so we’re not sure if this problem lies with Sony or Bethesda, or maybe both. In any case this situation is obviously unacceptable and hopefully Bethesda will address them soon.
