It’s safe to say that this is a very good week for Star Wars fans, they’ve been treated to a new movie after so many years, and if they happen to play Star Wars Battlefront then they’re certainly going to like what the game is offering them. To celebrate the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens players can get double XP in Star Wars Battlefront for absolutely no charge at all.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens hit the big screen across the globe over the weekend with millions of fans lining up outside theaters to get a chance to see it on the first day. Box office numbers show that the movie continues to break old records and is likely to become one of the best performing movies of 2015.
So you’ve watched The Force Awakens over the weekend and aren’t quite ready to get out of the Star Wars universe just yet, that’s where EA comes in to save the day, making sure that you don’t suffer from Star Wars withdrawal it’s giving you yet another reason to play Battlefront.
Star Wars Battlefront players will get double XP on all platforms that the game is available on throughout the weekend, since the title converts earned score into credits, players thus get double the amount of credits that they normally do, which can then be spent on emotes, Star Cards or Traits.
Double XP has been available to Battlefront players throughout the entire weekend and will be up for grabs by 1am PT, Monday, December 21st. You still have about a day left so if you didn’t know about this before, better fire up the game and start collecting double XP.
