Earlier this year, Square Enix and IO Interactive announced Hitman. This would be the latest title in the Hitman franchise and while it was originally slated for a release in December 2015, a later announcement revealed that the game was delayed by several months and would instead be released in March 2016.

That being said if you’re a little bummed by the delay, you might be interested to learn that IO Interactive has since announced the official dates in which the game’s beta will begin. For PS4 gamers, the beta for the game will kick off on the 12th of February 2016, and for PC gamers your turn will come on the 19th of February.

The beta will be open to everyone who has pre-ordered the game so if you’d like to take part in it, you should probably go ahead and place your pre-order today. Now you might have noticed that there was no mention of beta access for Xbox One gamers. This is because it was announced earlier that the beta would not arrive on the Xbox One.

For Xbox One gamers this means that you’ll have to wait for its final release in March before you will be able to play it. In the meantime if you have a minute to spare, check out the teaser trailer for the beta in the video above.
