When playing MMORPGs like World of Warcraft, there are tons of different mounts and some of them can only be gotten by completing achievements, finishing raids, or just being very lucky. Basically all these mounts are considered to be very enviable and highly-coveted by players in the game.Now the same can be said about the upcoming Vulture mount in Blizzard’s Heroes of the Storm. The mount was announced a while ago but it was only recently did Blizzard reveal how players will be able to get it. Turns out that this will only be obtainable if you were to use Blizzard’s Recruit A Friend feature.
Basically gamers will need to recruit four friends, but that’s not all. It seems that all four of your friends will need to get to level 10 which means that they will need to play and win a lot of games in order to hit that level. Also coincidentally four friends plus yourself makes up a team, so in essence Blizzard is encouraging teamplay amongst people that you know.
Safe to say that not all players were amused by this high requirements, but according to the game’s director Dustin Browder, this is apparently beneficial towards the long-term prospects of the game. “Very sorry to our veteran players. =( We did get this in late. We believe it is good for the long term health of the game.”
