htc teaserBack in November there was talk about HTC potentially having another HTC One handset in the works. It looks like the rumors and speculation might not be too far off because according to a recent tweet by HTC’s official Weibo account, the Taiwanese company has tweeted a teaser image that you can see to your right.

This teaser seems to be hinting at some of the possible features of HTC’s next smartphone. According to the teaser, it suggests that the upcoming device will feature a 13MP rear-facing camera with optical image stabilization, and the ability to capture images in RAW so for photographers who prefer the RAW format, this could be worth looking forward to.

As for what kind of phone we might be looking at, it has been rumored that HTC has a handset called the HTC One X9 in the works. The phone is said to be similar to the HTC One A9 in the sense that it won’t be a high-end device, and the rumors have it pegged for Q1 2016 which means we can either expect an announcement during CES or MWC next year.

The phone has also made an appearance on TENAA and if the rumored specs are to be believed, the phone will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a MediaTek Helio X10 chipset with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and oddly enough still Android 5.0 Lollipop, but we’re hoping by the time it is announced, the phone will have been updated to at least Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
