How many Instagram’s do you post each day? Plenty, or just a handful each week? A whole lot of it depends on the kind of user you are, but one thing we do know is this – you will obviously need an Instagram account before you get started, plugging what you have eaten for dinner and the like, but for some users yesterday, it seems that there is a bug in Instagram that has not dealt too kindly with them, booting them out of the app without having them sign out in the first place. Thankfully, the folks over at Instagram have stepped forward with a tweet, citing that this was attributed to a bug that caused an unknown number of Instagram to get kicked out unwillingly.

Of course, getting booted out unceremoniously would have led users to get all worried, keeping their fingers crossed that it was not a hacker who took control of their account, especially after trying to log back in with their password without any success. Naturally speaking, since Instagram mentioned that this particular issue hailed from a bug, it was not expedient for anyone to perform a change in passwords.
