apple logoIt looks like Apple has a spanking new COO (Chief Operating Officer), and he is known as Jeff Williams. This is an appointment of significance, taking into consideration how Jeff Williams would be the first COO ever since Tim Cook last held that position before he took over the late Steve Jobs’ role when the latter went on medical leave. It looks like Apple has bolstered their senior ranks with a new chief operating officer, and at the same time, took this opportunity to realign other posts within the organization.

Jeff Williams happens to be the Senior Vice President of Apple at the moment, and for the longest time, has been a trusted right hand man of Chief Executive Tim Cook. Mr. Williams joined Apple close to two decades ago, and he currently oversees the company’s gargantuan supply chain and operations, where his role has been expanded over time with the Apple Watch development process being under his watch as well.

Apart from that, Apple has also made adjustments to its executive team that has more or less remained in a stable condition since three years back. While Apple is the most valuable company worldwide where market capitalization is concerned, investors are starting to feel unsure of the company’s outlook. Good luck in your latest endeavor, Mr. Williams! [Press Release]
