X-Boom_CM9960With so many new speaker systems in the market these days, consumers are spoilt for choice but if you are looking for a new set of speakers that offers up both powerful and wireless connectivity, LG might have some new speakers that are part of its X-Boom lineup that you might want to check out.

LG has recently announced three new X-Boom models in the form of the X-Boom Solo OM7560 and OM5560, and the X-Boom CM9960. As the name suggests, the Solo models are single unit speakers and the idea is that entire audio systems will be housed in the unit. This means that bringing them out to parties or if you’re constrained for space, these speakers should do the trick.

X-Boom_OM7560Alternatively if you’d like a more complete setup, the CM9960 (see photo above) will be a larger system with a stereo speaker setup. LG is also touting the X-Boom’s Sampler Creator feature which allows users to record sound using their smartphones and wirelessly send them to the speakers. For DJs, this might come in handy as they can use those sound samples and integrate them into their mixes.

There will also be a Party Thruster lever which according to LG, will allow users “the ability to create stunning multi-coloured light shows that sync perfectly with the system’s audio output. The ornate display of flashing lights and high quality audio makes any party unforgettable.” Pricing and availability of these X-Boom speakers weren’t announced but additional details are expected to be available at CES 2016.
