meizu-metalMeizu is a company that many of us would have heard of by now – where they deliver some pretty decent handsets such as the Meizu M1 Note last year, offering a careful balance between price and performance. Having said that, it looks like Meizu could jolly well be developing a compact alternative to its 5.5” Meizu m1 metal, based on the GFXBench database. It will not take the same route as that of the OnePlus Mini that we talked about previously, as the Meizu metal mini will not be a smaller sized version of its sibling, albeit with a similar hardware configuration.

Dubbed as the Meizu M57AC Blue Charm Metal in the benchmark result, the actual name would be the Meizu m1 metal. It will feature a Mediatek MT6753 chipset, which is different from the more powerful Helio X10 (MT6795) chipset that graces the larger sized model.

Speculated hardware specifications include a 4.6” Full HD display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and a 13MP camera that does Full HD video recording with ease. It does seem as though this is going to be yet another decent mid-range devices, but from the sounds of it, it is going to be quite a looker. Chances are it will have a version of MIUI running on top of Android, too.
