In case you weren’t already aware, Blizzard has a new game and a new franchise in the works in the form of Overwatch. The game’s cinematic trailer was released last year and was impressive enough to warrant a Webby nomination. That being said if you’re looking forward to more Overwatch content, you’re in luck.

Blizzard has recently released Overwatch’s theatrical teaser in cinemas. If you haven’t been to the cinema this weekend then maybe you might have missed it, but don’t worry because you can check it out in the video above. The teaser basically introduces to viewers a bunch of characters from the game.

Granted it’s not as impressive as the cinematic trailer, but it is still pretty cool. As it stands Overwatch is still in beta (although the beta is on a break at the moment) but the game has been pegged for a 2016 release. In fact gamers who are interested in getting their hands on the game can actually go ahead and pre-order it right now.

No specific dates have been given regarding its release, but it is expected to make its way onto the PC and current-gen consoles in the Spring of 2016, so gamers who are looking for a new FPS game to play, check back with us in the coming months for details regarding Overwatch’s release and availability.
