Earlier this year Konami announced that they would be pulling the Silent Hills teaser game P.T. from the PlayStation Store. They claimed at that time that this was because it was simply a teaser and that its availability was meant to be limited, although many had speculated it might have something to do with the falling out they had with Hideo Kojima.

That being said if for some reason you deleted the game by accident or if there was some glitch, you’ll be pleased to learn that there is now a way for you to get it back. Thanks to a recent post on Gamexeon, instructions have been posted (see video above if you prefer visual instructions) that will allow gamers to redownload the game in the event that they have deleted it.

It involves downloading a PC software that allows you to access for PS4 library through a proxy server, although this will only work if you had downloaded the game in the past. For those who didn’t, you’re still out of luck. As we don’t have a PS4 ourselves we can’t say with certainty that this method will work, but so far the comments have revealed that it has, but do proceed at your own risk if you decide to.

While P.T. was short-lived, it has managed to achieve cult status during its tenure and at one point, gamers were selling PS4 consoles with the game installed on eBay for thousands of dollars. In the meantime Silent Hills’ director Hideo Kojima has since left Konami and formed Kojima Productions and will also be teaming up with Sony for a video game.
