division-alphaA couple of days ago, we brought you word that Ubisoft delayed the Division Beta, citing that it will go live some time in early 2016. Well, here we are with word that the closed alpha is now live, and it is obviously happening only on the Xbox One platform. Ubisoft has also confirmed that servers had already gone live, and just about anyone who has downloaded it will be able to participate.

Before jumping into the closed alpha, one would need a key beforehand, and these happen to be sent out in a random manner, where priority lies with those who have already placed a pre-order for the title on the Xbox One platform. Do bear in mind that the download client itself is rather hefty in nature, weighing in at a massive 23GB.

With the alpha test, one will be able to gain access to both PvE as well as PvP modes, and this particular alpha test will cease to exist this coming Saturday, December 12. Are you one of the lucky few who have already gained access to this closed alpha test, and how has your experience been so far?
