Given the success of X-Men: Days of Future Past, we’re sure many moviegoers and Marvel fans were thrilled to find that at the end of the movie, it was teased that a new movie with Apocalypse as the villain was in the works. The good news is that if you wanted to see what they have been up to, a new trailer for the movie has been released.

For those who don’t really follow Marvel comics or the X-Men, Apocalypse is considered to be one of the bigger and badder villains of the Marvel universe with seemingly unlimited powers, like the ability to shapeshift and grow/shrink in size at will. Safe to say that the X-Men have their work cut out for them in the upcoming movie.

There has been some debate about the way Apocalypse is depicted in the movie, in which he does appear to be smaller and not as huge or as menacing compared to his comic/cartoon counterpart, but hopefully the storyline, directing, and acting will be good enough to distract us from that.

The movie will see James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, and Jennifer Lawrence reprise their roles, and it will also introduce new characters played by Olivia Munn, Oscar Isaac, and Game of Thrones’ Sophie Turner who will be portraying a young Jean Grey. If you have a couple of minutes to spare, check out the trailer above. X-Men: Apocalypse has been set for a release come May 27, 2016.
