lambo-flood
If you happen to love your car no matter how much it costs then you definitely take good care of it, taking good care of it involves not driving it through a flooded intersection, but that’s exactly what the owner of this $200,000 Lamborghini Gallardo did in San Diego. The video is making waves on the internet as people come to terms with the fact someone is treating such a nice car in such a reckless manner.

If you have been following the news recently then you might have heard that San Diego has received torrential rain so much so that the streets are flooded. Those aren’t exactly the best conditions to take your expensive car out for a drive.

Now I don’t own a Lamborghini but when my city gets torrential rain I try my best to avoid having to take my car out on the road and even if I did the last thing I would do is drive it through a flooded intersection.

The video shows the Gallardo navigating its way through the intersection, it easily powers through it but at one point the water becomes so deep that it comes right up to the windscreen, almost making the car look like a great white shark in the water.

Considering the fact that it’s a mid-engined car which doesn’t have air intakes at the front it’s easy to understand the reduced risk of hydro locking but water could have potentially entered the exhaust.

Who knows, perhaps the owner had somewhere important where they really needed to be, but I’ll leave it up to you to call it either bravery or stupidity.
