So far all the leaks we have seen of the LG G5 have been covered, meaning that the full design of the phone is still anyone’s guess. However if a report from a couple of days ago is to be believed, there is a good chance that the LG G5 could sport an entirely brand new design, and hopefully this 3D rendering will clue us in.

Put together by the folks at Techconfigurations, the video above shows the 3D rendering of what they believe the LG G5 will look like, at least based on various reports as well as information gleaned from the leaked photos. Personally we couldn’t really tell much about the phone from the leaked photos, so take it with a grain of salt for now.

That being said, based on the 3D rendering we have to say that the LG G5 looks very different from its predecessors. For starters it seems that the back of the phone is flat, very different from the LG G4 which had a slightly more curved look to it. If anything we are reminded a bit of the Nexus 5X, also built by LG.

The sides of the also appear to be flat all around, which hopefully indicates that we could be looking at some kind of metal build, but other than that, it seems like it’s all just speculation. Take it with a grain of salt, but what do you guys make of this look? Are you digging it?
