amazon-logo-largeIt does not take a genius to figure out that both Amazon and Google happen to be direct competitors despite boasting of different commercial and business backgrounds, where they share many similarities with one another in the middle ground segment. The mobile sector is one of the more glaring examples, where both companies have their respective app stores. Amazon’s App Store recently saw the unveiling of the Underground version that ensured consumers were able to enjoy a rather large number of apps for free, and this time around a rumor has started to go around that Amazon has more tricks up their sleeves where the mobile sector is concerned.

It looks as though Amazon has been talking to different Android smartphone manufacturers, touching on the subject of offering a handset that will feature Amazon’s services and apps pre-installed at the “factory level“, and this will allegedly arrive with a more substantial and comprehensive Amazon experience. Perhaps Amazon is banking on such a move to cannibalize on Google’s existing services and apps that tend to arrive with majority of the Android-powered devices out there right out of the box, who knows? Only time will be able to tell, so stay tuned if there are any breaking news!
