blackberry-priv-review_ubergizmo_05If you’re looking to get your hands on the BlackBerry PRIV directly from a carrier, you will be pleased to learn that T-Mobile is now offering the device. Just pop on over to T-Mobile’s website and you will be able to place an order for the handset in which you can choose to pay the full retail price of $719.99, or opt to pay it via a 24 month installment plan at $30 a month, which is exactly the same prices as announced by T-Mobile last week.

We should point out that the BlackBerry PRIV has been out for a while now, so it is only recently that one is able to purchase the handset directly from a carrier, but we suppose better late than never, right? It is expected that BlackBerry will launch newer handsets this year, presumably also running on Android, but if you like what you have read about the BlackBerry PRIV to date, then why wait, right?

So far reviews of the handset have been largely positive, which in turn has prompted BlackBerry to consider launching more Android handsets later this year. Last we heard, there would be at least two handsets, with one of them supposedly being the Android version of the BlackBerry Passport, and another model that is rumored to be more affordable than the PRIV, which let’s face it, is kind of pricey.
