If you love MMORPGs and you also love the DC universe of comics and its characters, chances are you might have heard of DC Universe Online, a game concept which Marvel attempted to replicate with Marvel Heroes several years ago. Now the good news is that if you’re an Xbox One gamer, you can look forward to the game being released for your console.
DC Universe Online was originally released for both the PC and PlayStation 3 back in 2011, and it was later announced that it would be arriving on the PlayStation 4. Given that its developers were formerly known as Sony Online Entertainment, it was no surprise that the game was exclusive to Sony’s platform, but ever since Sony sold it off, it’s good news for Xbox gamers.
The announcement to launch the game on the Xbox One was part of the celebration of the game turning 5 years old. In addition to announcing its arrival on Microsoft’s gaming platform, Daybreak Games also announced that there will be cross-play between the PlayStation 4 and the PC version although unfortunately it seems that there will not be any cross-play for the Xbox One.
No specific date has been mentioned for its Xbox One release, but we reckon it should be in the coming months as Daybreak did mention that it should arrive in the Spring of 2016, so if a 5-year old game still holds plenty of appeal to you, then this should be worth keeping an eye out for.
