twitter-robot-artWe all know that robots are here to stay, where in fact it was reported earlier this morning that robots could jolly well take over 5 million jobs worldwide by the time 2020 arrives – now that is not too much when you think of how there will be more than 7 billion people worldwide then, which would make it a drop in the ocean, but it is still quite a staggering figure when you try to wrap your mind around it. If there is one area that we figured out robots would not have too much say, it might be art – or would it? Deep Forger happens to be a Twitter bot that will transform photos into famous works of art, as it will take a photo sent to it and create a forgery in the style of the great artists of yore.

Of course, all of it would amount to naught if Twitter happens to experience a service outage, like what it did earlier this morning across several continents. Bummer when that happens, but heck, why not give it a rest from time to time? If you are curious as to how Deep Forger works, you might want to send some photos in the way of this particular Twitter account. Not the first painting bot of its kind, and neither will it be the last, either.
