galaxy s7 panelWe are in 2016 and that means that we can expect the Samsung Galaxy S7 to be announced in the next few months, assuming that Samsung’s timing has not changed. That being said one of the rumors we have heard recently is the design of the phone which apparently won’t differ too much from the Galaxy S6.

If you were hoping the rumors were wrong, you might be disappointed as a new photo has surfaced which shows off the alleged front panel of the device. As you can tell, it certainly looks like there has not been any major changes made to the design of the phone, at least as far as the front portion is concerned.

It is possible that the back of the phone might have been redesigned but for now, it certainly doesn’t look that way. If anything one of the changes we see in the photo is the movement of the ambient sensors closer to the front-facing camera, but apart from that it seems that not much has changed.

In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but from everything we’ve heard so far, we suppose you shouldn’t really get your hopes up if you were looking forward to a new and radical design for the Galaxy S7 or its variants.
