hyrule edition 3ds xlGamers might recall that back in October 2015, Nintendo announced that they will be launching a Hyrule Edition Nintendo 3DS XL console. The good news is that if you’re not one of our US readers and you’re actually living in Europe, you will be pleased to learn that the console will finally be headed your way.

This is according to a tweet from the Nintendo of Europe account in which they announced its availability. However the bad news is that while gamers in the US have been enjoying the console for a while now, gamers in Europe will still have to wait until the 24th of March which is when it will be released.

Oddly enough as you can see in the photo above, Nintendo will not be bundling a copy of Hyrule Warriors Legends, which is something one might expect from such a package, right? We guess this means that gamers in Europe will need to pick up the game separately, so in reality this console is really aimed at fans of the Zelda franchise who might just want a new collectible to add to their collection.

No word on pricing of the console in Europe, but stateside it was priced at $199.99, so while it might not necessarily be 100% accurate, you can use it as some kind of guide, at least until its official price is revealed.
