lenovo-y27g-monitor-razer-edition[CES 2016] When it comes to devices with curved displays, you might think of brands like Samsung or LG, but think again because Lenovo has recently launched their latest gaming monitor in the form of the Y27g, and in case the photos weren’t already obvious, this is a curved gaming monitor.

Apart from being able to show off how far technology has advanced, curved displays are said to be more immersive as they allow users to take more information in compared to their flat screen counterparts. For gamers who play FPS games or RTS titles that needs to be aware of their surroundings, such a setup might come in handy.

The Lenovo Y27g will feature a 27-inch display with an R1800 curvature. Its resolution is unfortunately maxed out at Full HD, so if you wanted a higher resolution you’d have to look elsewhere. However it does sport gaming features like NVIDIA’s G-SYNC technology, 8ms response time, 144Hz refresh rate, 300nits brightness, and 3000:1 contrast ratio, just to name a few.

It also comes with an audio out jack to plug your headphones in, and it seems that Lenovo was nice enough to include a hanger for your headphones as well. There are also 4x USB 3.0 ports. It is priced at $549 and is expected to be available for purchase come June 2016.
