lg-dual-flat-view-1[CES 2016] It does feel as though we humans want something that is bigger and better all the time, which can be seen as something good since it shows how we would love to improve on our weaknesses and solidify our strengths. Hence, LG has come up with this unique dual view flat display that as its name suggests, shows off two different kinds of video or images on each side – simultaneously.

Knowing how adept LG already is when it comes to churning out really, really thin displays, it is no surprise then to see this unique dual view flat display being showcased as well. Targeting use for digital signage that will certainly come in handy in places like hotels and the ilk, this unique display measures all of just 4.9mm thin, now how about that when it comes to lightness?

The resolution count will be limited to just Full HD at this point in time, as Ultra HD is not really necessary if it were to fulfill its purpose of being a digital signage board. After all, how many pixels would one want to throw inside some words? For advertising purposes, Full HD should also be more than adequate, taking into consideration how most folks would just take a look at a glance, and they are not going to stand there mesmerized by the whole deal.

It seems that LG has plans to trim down the thickness further this year with a 4.4mm panel being made available in due time.
