lg-concave-1[CES 2016] It looks like rollable OLED displays from LG are not enough, as the South Korean company looks forward to introducing yet two more types of displays that will certainly change the way we look at the public advertisement space. First of all, there is the UHD concave display that was showcased, and you would need to stand right in front of it in order to make sure that you get the full immersion experience, otherwise those who happen to stand on the side or farther back will most probably find it to be rather disorienting. It is said that this concave display is targeting the arcade market, but the thing is, will arcade players want to take up this new technology?

As for the UHD convex display, it works on pretty much the same principle, except that it curves outward. It is said to have a radius of 500, and despite that, LG’s technological superiority in this department saw no light leakage or distortion in its colors. Both of these displays will arrive in 65” sizes, although it is believed that LG should be able to manufacture different kinds of sizes if required – smaller should be not an issue at all, but for the larger sized versions, that might prove to be something that will need work on.
