An amiibo for Princess Daisy may not have been released as yet but that’s not going to stop here from arriving on Super Mario Maker. Nintendo has confirmed through a video posted on its Japanese YouTube account that Princess Daisy is getting her own costume in Super Mario Maker. The costume will be available to players after they complete an Event Level in Course World.

Nintendo also revealed recently that during the month of December sales of Super Mario Maker exceeded one million units in the United States. This is now the sixth Wii U game that’s reached this major milestone, some of the others include Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D, New Super Mario Bros. U and Splatoon.

It’s interesting to note that the Wii U games that have sold a million copies in the United States don’t include The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD even though it was included in a limited edition of the console aside from being sold on its own. Perhaps The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is going to get on this list, the new title arrives March 3rd, 2016.

Players who would like to get the Princess Daisy costume in Super Mario Maker first have to complete an Event Level in Course World, the costume has been released and players can now access the level to get it. Princess Daisy happens to be the 120th Costume Mario design.
