Liberty-car-app[CES 2016] How much insurance premium you pay on an annual basis for your car also depends on how many accidents you’ve gotten into, or how many times you’ve actually bothered to claim insurance for said accidents. However all of this is based on official reports, meaning that if you did not report it, the companies wouldn’t know.

However if you fancy yourself a safe driver, you might be interested in an app by RightTrack. Announced by Liberty Mutual, this is an app developed by the insurance company with Subaru of America. Basically what it does is that it offers the driver real-time driving feedback and tips to help them reduce their insurance premiums.

This means that if you are considered a safe driver, at least by the app’s standards, you could ultimately see your insurance premium reduced, making it good motivation to ensure that you drive safely. The app will be able to generate reports for each trip and will provide information such as how many times you’ve accelerated rapidly or how many times you’ve had to brake hard.

Like we said, based on this information it could lead to your insurance premiums being lowered. If this sounds like an interesting idea, the Liberty Mutual RightTrack will be available in all 2016 Subaru models that are equipped with the carmaker’s STARLINK in-vehicle technology.
