theearthandtheskyWe know that many gamers are looking forward to playing the PC version of Rise of the Tomb Raider, which for a while now was an Xbox One exclusive. The good news is that we won’t have to wait much long as its release is pegged for the 28th of January, but for those who can’t wait, hopefully these screenshots will sate your curiosity.
There’s nothing new in the PC version of the game that isn’t in the console, but these screenshots, courtesy of NeoGAF user jim2point0 (via DualShockers) should give gamers an idea of the kind of quality they can expect on the PC version of the game. Do note that these screenshots were taken at a custom resolution and using external tools, so what you see might not be what your PC will reproduce, assuming you don’t have the hardware to support it.

However we have to say that it does look pretty good so if you do have a PC with some fancy hardware, maybe you’ll want to crank up the graphics. So far the minimum hardware requirements of the game have been released, so you will at the very least need those specs to play the game, but your mileage might vary depending on the hardware combination on your PC.

As for PS4 gamers, you guys will still have to wait until the later part of the year before the game is released for you guys, but hopefully the game will still your attention by then.
