Right now as far as most strollers are concerned, they require the parent or the caretaker to push them. This has been done for decades and it works, but could it be due for an upgrade? Turns out that some people think that it might, and have since launched an Indiegogo campaign for a stroller called the Smartbe Stroller.

This is a smart stroller in the sense that it can actually propel itself forward. This means that when your hands are full with bags of groceries, it can propel itself so that you don’t have to push it. Apparently it is powerful enough where it can even push itself uphill, although we have to wonder how safe that really is. The stroller can also detect when the users are nearby so as to maintain a safe and within-reach distance.

However apart from being able to propel itself, the Smartbe Stroller also comes with features like a built-in rocker, a bottle warmer, and even a music so that the stroller can double up as a mobile nursery. The bassinet is also temperature-controlled and comes with air filters, thus ensuring that despite the weather and the environment, your baby stays healthy and comfortable.

Of course, all of this does not come cheap. To get the Smartbe Stroller with the most features, it will set you back $3,199. The cheapest option isn’t particularly cheap either at $399, although this pretty much does away with all the electronic components. However if you think that this is worth it, then head on over to its Indiegogo page to pledge your support.
