Ubisoft has still not confirmed when The Division beta is going to go live, it did promise that the beta would go live early in the new year, and now those who have been waiting to get a glimpse of this upcoming title are getting impatient. It turns out that Ubisoft itself may have let slip the date of The Division beta, but it’s still not confirming anything.

If the leaked date is to be believed then The Division beta is going live later this month. The date has been leaked through Ubisoft’s own UPlay mobile app, it’s a companion app that gamers can run in the background to get rewards to actions completed in Ubisoft games.

Once such reward for “Team Beta: Active” action in The Division rewards the player for taking part in the closed beta, and it’s mentioned that the beta takes place in January 2016. A precise date is not included with it.

Ubisoft has already held a closed alpha round for The Division but since it was done under an NDA those who got access couldn’t share any videos or photos from the alpha build, at least not legally, some footage was believed to have been leaked online.

Hopefully, Ubisoft will confirm soon when the beta for The Division will go live, it has released a new trailer for the game, though, so take a look at it once or twice while you wait for the beta to arrive.
