Valkyria Chronicles was a very popular game from Sega back when the PlayStation 3 was all the rage, fans were no doubt excited to get the opportunity to play the game again on PC with an updated resolution and framerate. They will be glad to find out that Sega has confirmed that it’s going to release Valkyria Chronicles Remastered for PlayStation 4. Sega had been teasing this announcement since last week and now it has finally confirmed this.

Valkyria Chronicles follows Squad 7 with the aim being to push the Empire out of Gallia, players take control of multiple members in the squad throughout the game, which makes for an engaging and interesting gameplay experience.

Like the PC port, Valkyria Chronicles Remastered for PlayStation 4 is going to support 1080p/60fps gameplay, dual-audio tracks, trophies as well as all of the DLC that’s already available.

The title will be available via both physical disc and digital download. Those who pre-order this title for PlayStation 4 or purchase it on launch day will receive a premium metal Squad 7 Armored case.

No release date for Valkyria Chronicles Remastered has been confirmed yet but it’s said that the title is going to arrive by spring 2016. Valkyria Chronicles Remastered for PlayStation 4 is priced at $29.99.
