wow legionAs you might have heard, Blizzard decided to take a break from the alpha testing of its upcoming games due to it being the holiday season. The good news though is that it looks like the tests are back, at least as far as the upcoming World of Warcraft: Legion expansion is concerned.

For those who aren’t selected to be part of the alpha, you’re probably wondering what does this have got to do with you? For starters, the alpha is currently not under any NDA. This means that you can keep an eye out for streamers and websites where they might share new and upcoming information about the game as it is being discovered.

However as Blizzard notes, “Please keep in mind that Legion is still in development—we’ll be making changes as we continue to prepare for the upcoming beta test, and what you’ll see during the alpha test is not necessarily representative of the final game.” As for those who are taking part, Blizzard has raised the level cap to 106 and there will be 7 more talents added to some of the classes.

They have also opened up a new zone for players to test, as well as a new dungeon for gamers to explore, so we can look forward to learning more about them. At the moment there is no concrete release date for Legion, but it has been set for a 2016 release so we guess we’ll just have to keep an eye out for it.
