apple music sonosOne of the perks of owning a pair of Sonos speakers is that it has the ability to stream music from the speakers via streaming platforms such as Spotify. Last year the company launched a beta program in which Apple Music’s streaming capabilities were being tested on the company’s range of speakers.

The good news is that if you are an Apple Music subscriber and you want the ability to stream Apple’s music service from your speakers, you’ll be pleased to learn that the feature will be open to all Sonos speaker owners and Apple Music subscribers starting today, the 10th of February at 9AM ET.

According to Apple’s SVP of Internet Software and Services, Eddy Cue, “The feedback from Apple Music members on Sonos during the beta period has been great. Sonos plus Apple Music provides an amazing listening experience at home – and we’re excited to offer it to all Sonos customers starting tomorrow.”

For those who aren’t subscribed to Apple Music, the company is offering a free 3-month trial, after which you will be able to subscribe starting at $9.99 a month. Unlike some of its competitors such as Spotify, Apple Music has no free listening tier save for its trial period, so remember to cancel if you do not wish to continue using it.
