street-fighter-5-rashid-2While Street Fighter V sounded promising during early reviews of the game, one of the main points of criticism was the lack of single-player content, and also the lack of an Arcade Mode. While the franchise is a competitive one, we also know that there are many gamers who are more than happy when going up against the computer.

The good news is that according to a Capcom representative who spoke to Forbes, it seems that Arcade Mode is a possibility that Capcom is exploring for the future. The rep was quoted as saying, “The team is looking into adding an Arcade Mode and we’ll have more information to share soon.”

Note that this isn’t necessarily confirmation that Arcade Mode will be arriving, but it does sound pretty positive so we guess we’ll just have to wait and see if it does arrive in future updates. In addition to Arcade Mode, Capcom is also planning to introduce difficulty sliders in the existing Character Stories mode which should bring about some challenges for gamers.

Given that Capcom stated earlier this month that they planned on supporting the latest title in the Street Fighter franchise for a very long time, it makes sense that they are listening and actively working on what players are suggesting, at least that’s if they plan on maintaining a sizeable player base 10 years from now.
