There are tablets designed for regular folks like you and me, and then there are tablets that are designed for businesses where it might come with features, like enhanced security, durability, the ability for remote access, and more. Now if you are after such a tablet, ASUS has sort of announced their new ASUS ZenPad M series of tablets.

When we say sort of announced, we mean that ASUS has revealed the name of the two tablets – the ASUS ZenPad M which comes in 7-inch and 10-inch options. Apart from that, the specs and the rest of the features of either device remain a mystery, but presumably this is because ASUS will share more details about them at MWC 2016 next week.

However ASUS did share one feature of the tablets, and that is a tool called ADAM. This stands for ASUS Device Admin for Mobile. This is basically a combination of tools that are designed to allow IT administrators to manage and control the ZenPad M tablets remotely. For example apps could be installed remotely, updated, as well as remotely locking and wiping the tablets in the event they get stolen or misplaced.

The difference from the ADAM tools from before is that ASUS has decided to bundle all of them together in a single package that can be accessed via a web browser. Like we said, more details are expected to be shared at MWC 2016, so do check back with us next week for the official information.
