LG unveiled its new flagship handset on the very same day that Samsung came out with the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. It will be very interesting to see how both handsets perform in the market once they’re released. Most of Samsung’s carrier and retail partners have already confirmed pricing and availability for the new handsets, details are slim about the LG G5 right now, but Best Buy has confirmed today that it’s going to start taking pre-orders for the G5 from March 18th.

All of the four major carriers in the country, Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint, have confirmed that they’re going to sell the LG G5, however, they’ve not yet confirmed how much it’s going to cost on their networks and precisely when it’s going to be released.

It’s pretty much the same story from Best Buy, even though it has confirmed that pre-orders for the LG G5 will go live on March 18th, it hasn’t said what sort of pricing customers can expect to receive in its stores.

It’s interesting to note that the March 18th pre-orders come a week after Samsung releases the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge in 60 countries across the globe. The release itself may take place in the last week of March 2016 but that’s just speculation at this point, even though it looks highly likely.
