BlackBerry certainly needs to sell all the units that it possibly can to exist in the global smartphone market so it’s not surprising to see the company come out with a new offer to try and get more people to purchase its flagship smartphone. The company is celebrating Valentine’s Day by offering discounts on the BlackBerry Priv which happens to be the first Android smartphone this company has ever created.

Customers in the United States can purchase the BlackBerry Priv directly from the company’s online store for $650. This is the unlocked and off-contract price. The handset is normally sold for $699.99 so that’s a $50 discount you’re getting on Valentine’s Day. Customers in the United Kingdom can purchase the handset for £529.

BlackBerry is also offering a discount on the Passport in both countries. That handset can be purchased for $399 in the United States and £349. The discounted prices are being offered until February 24th so there’s a lot of time to make up your mind and decide whether you want to purchase a BlackBerry.

To give customers an added incentive to consider its devices the company is also giving a free accessory bundle with the Priv and the Passport. The bundle contains the Sync Pod and Smart Flip Case which is a $99 deal in itself.
