doom 4Doom is one of the classic FPS titles from way back in the day. Nowadays the FPS genre seems to be more about titles like Call of Duty and Battlefield, so if you’re wondering what the fuss about Doom is all about, you will be pleased to learn that it has been announced that Doom 1 and Doom 2 will be bundled together with the upcoming Doom title on the Xbox One.

However this is only for those who pre-order a digital copy of the game for the Xbox One, so if you are planning to buy a physical copy, it seems that you might not be able to get the older titles. The codes for both games will be delivered to gamers within 7-10 days of placing their order, and will only be available for a limited amount of time.

So if you want to get in on this, we suggest that you go ahead and pre-order the game via the Xbox Store. The latest Doom title is expected to be released on the 13th of May. Safe to say that based on the trailer and screenshots, the game has come a long way from what it used to be back in the day.

So far this offer is only valid for the Xbox One. The game will also be released on the PC and the PlayStation 4, but at the moment it does not seem like there are any special offers for the other two platforms. There is also a $120 collector’s edition that comes with a statue for those who are interested.
