The Mac Pro’s design is a bit controversial. Some have likened its design to that of a rubbish bin, but regardless of what you think, it is pretty unique. Now if you happen to like the look but don’t to drop the money for an actual Mac Pro, you might be interested in a Kickstarter project for a computer chassis called the Dune Case.

As you can see in the video above, the Dune Case is pretty much a clone of the Mac Pro’s design. However this is only the case meaning you’ll still have to fill it with your own hardware. It is a mini ITX case so in terms of hardware choices, you will be limited and will need to go for mini ITX motherboards and smaller sized GPUs.

It also boasts a similar cooling system as the Mac Pro by pulling up vertically up through the top, versus more conventional PC builds where air is pulled in horizontally through the case, which sometimes can skip certain parts of the PC. It will come with a host of ports like USB 3, Ethernet, Display Port 1.2 or HDMI 2.0, a microphone input, and speaker input.

Now we have to admit that while the case looks pretty good, we’re not sure if Apple will be too thrilled about the company creating such a similar looking case. However if you’d like to lend a helping hand in making it a reality, head on over to its Kickstarter page to pledge your support.
