The Hitman franchise is a popular one, which is why it wasn’t surprising that last year’s announcement saw many players get excited about the upcoming title. However recently, the folks at IO Interactive have announced that they would be changing the structure of the game into an episodic one.

This means that instead of the whole game being released at once, the developers will instead be releasing chapters of the game at a time. In a way we suppose this is good news as it means that more time and effort can be put into a single chapter, although this means that the game’s release will be “slow”. That being said, for those curious about the game’s first season, Sony and IO Interactive have since released the trailer.

The trailer doesn’t really show any gameplay, it does give players an idea of what they can expect in terms of story and theme for the first season. Gamers who are interested in the game will also be pleased to learn that the game’s beta will be arriving on the PS4 on the 12th of February, while gamers who play the game on the PC can expect theirs on the 19th of February.

The first season of the game is also expected to be released on the 11th of March for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One platforms, with the other seasons pegged for a release for the later part of the year.
