htc-desire-mwc-2106While HTC did not unveil the HTC One M10 at MWC 2016, the company did confirm the HTC Vive’s pricing and availability. Now for those who were hoping for more mobile-centric announcements from HTC, don’t worry because this is MWC and HTC certainly did not disappoint.

According to a press release sent out by the company, HTC has announced a trio of new Desire handsets. This comes in the form of the HTC Desire 530, 630, and the 825. These are obviously not flagship handsets, but HTC claims that these phones are inspired by urban street wear as far as their design is concerned, so if you’re after a funky-looking phone, then these handsets might be for you.

The phones are pretty basic in terms of their specs. For starters, the Desire 530 packs a 5-inch 720p HD display with a quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at 1.1GHz. It will come with 1.5G of RAM, an 8MP rear-facing camera, and a 5MP front-facing camera. As for the Desire 630, it will also feature a 5-inch 720p HD display.

However under the hood it will be faster with a 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset with 2GB of RAM. It will also come with a 13MP rear-facing camera, and a 5MP front-facing camera. Last but not least, the Desire 825 will feature the same specs as the Desire 630 under the hood. The main difference would be its display which will be bigger at 5.5-inches (still 720p HD resolution), and will sport BoomSound stereo speakers. No word on pricing but they are expected to be available this coming March.
