snooze1One of Google’s recent ambitions is to change the way we deal with our emails, which has resulted in the company launching a new email platform called Inbox by Gmail. The idea is that the platform is smart enough to sort your emails, as well as let users tend to their emails at a later time, thus keeping their inbox empty and clutter-free.

Now if Inbox by Gmail’s snooze feature wasn’t as comprehensive as you’d like, you’re in luck as Google has announced some updates that they are making to the app and the snooze features. According to Google, “First, Snooze is getting two highly-requested snooze times: Later this week and This weekend. These new options should hopefully save you some time, and decrease the need to use custom snooze.”

The update also lets users set when exactly defines their weekend, similar to how users can set their preferred morning time to receive their emails. “Second, just like you can set your preferred morning time to receive emails, you can now choose the weekend days that work best for you. This feature is especially useful for people living who live in places where the weekend spans different days of the week.”

The update only seems to be applicable to the Android version of Inbox by Gmail for now, but we can only assume iOS users will eventually get the feature as well. In the meantime Android users can hit up the Google Play Store to get their hands on the latest version of the app.
