lenovo_teaser_mwc_2016_twitterEarlier last month, Lenovo announced a new phone that’s part of their Lemon lineup in the form of the Lenovo Lemon 3. While it is considered a budget phone based on its price, its specs are actually pretty decent. However it looks like Lenovo could have an updated model in the works, at least according to a teaser posted on Twitter (via NDTV).

As you can see in the image above, it shows a Lenovo handset with what appears to be molten metal being poured on top of it. The tweet by Lenovo India reads, “A gorgeous new device has been engineered from scratch to deliver the #Knockout punch. Brace yourselves.” Based on the image, it has been largely speculated that the device in the picture is the Lenovo Lemon 3.

However based on Lenovo’s caption, it’s supposed to be a new device, so it is possible that maybe the design of the Lemon 3 has been reused, and that maybe for this model it will be getting a metal construction for its body, or at least that’s what it looks like. Or perhaps it could simply be a Lemon 3 variant aimed at other markets.

In any case we suppose we will find out more next week at MWC, so if you’d like to see what Lenovo could be up to, check back with us then for the details.
