It’s a good day to be a Verizon customer as the carrier is releasing the much awaited Marshmallow update for not one, not two but three different devices. Valentine’s Day is over but apparently Verizon doesn’t mind giving us all a late gift. It has started rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for LG G3, LG G4 and the HTC One M9.

Verizon has released Android 6.0 Marshmallow for LG G3 and LG G4, version VS98546A and version VS98624C respectively. HTC One M9 also gets in on the action with software version 3.37.605.7.

All of the features that are part and parcel of Marshmallow are included in this latest release. Aside from user interface tweaks features include Now on Tap, Doze mode, silent mode, runtime permissions, Direct Share and much more. Verizon has also pushed Wi-Fi calling for the G4 via this latest update.

OEM tweaks to Android 6.0 are included as well so users will see changes to the custom skin made by LG and HTC both. They can also expect to find some pre-loaded apps as is always the case with carrier-locked handsets.

It’s great that Verizon has decided to release the update for three of these big devices on the very same day. If you haven’t received an update notification as yet on your handset, be patient, it may take a few hours for the update to go live for everybody.
