It’s common for console makers like Microsoft and Sony to come up with limited edition models of their consoles to commemorate the launch of a big game. Uncharted 4 is a title that many have been anxiously waiting for and Sony sees fit to commemorate its launch with a limited edition Uncharted 4 PlayStation 4 bundle. There’s nothing really special about this model aside from its paint job but then again that’s usually the case with these models.
With the limited edition Uncharted 4 PlayStation 4 bundle customers get a 500GB PS4 console in Gray Blue color with a silk-screened image of protagonist Nathan Drake. There’s also a matching DualShock 4 controller and a copy of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End on Blue-ray.
This limited edition model has the PlayStation logo, Uncharted logo and the phrase SIC PARVIS MAGNA in gold. If you’ve not brushed up on your Latin recently, SIC PARVIS MAGNA means “Greatness from small beginnings,” and it’s the exact same phrase that’s engraved on Drake’s ring.
Customers who pre-order the limited edition bundle will get a voucher for Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune Outfit, Golden Weapon Skin and Uncharted Points that can be used in multiplayer.
Pre-orders start today, the bundle itself will be available on April 26th in the United States and Canada for $399.99 US and $499 CAD respectively. April 26th is when Uncharted 4 is going to be released. Sony will also sell the Gray Blue DualShock 4 controller separately for $64.99 USD and $89.99 CAD.
