monument valley legoIf you haven’t played Monument Valley, you might have at least heard of it. It is a game based around structures that can be twisted, rotated, and moved, all with the intention of getting your character, Ida, from one end to the other to accomplish her goal and to move the story along. It is a fun game with beautiful graphics and a killer soundtrack to boot.

It is also one of the few games which would totally make sense as a LEGO set, which is what someone by the screen name of Isometry has suggested. In a post on the LEGO Ideas page, Isometry has suggested the idea of creating a LEGO set based around Monument Valley, one that we can totally get behind on.

According to Isometry’s proposal, “My Lego Ideas project is inspired by the Monument Valley game, and aims to capture the journey through a creative 3-D experience. This set includes four minimalist landscape themes that are modular and interactive; featuring rotating walkways, platforms, pillars, staircases, bridges and water wheels; along with three main characters, Ida, Totem and Crow.”

Sounds like a pretty awesome idea, but there are a couple of problems. For LEGO to even take this idea into consideration, the proposal would need at least 10,000 supporters. After which it will then be reviewed, meaning that 10,000 supporters aren’t necessary a sure-thing. We can also imagine that they will need permission and licensing from the developers of the game, so safe to say, it could take a while for it to be made a reality, but if you want to help get the project moving, then head on over to LEGO Ideas to lend your support.
