lg_x_cam_x_screenJust yesterday LG announced two new handsets that they will be showing off at MWC 2016 – the LG X cam and the LG X screen. These are interesting devices, particularly the LG X screen which seems like some kind of variant of the LG V10. That being said, it looks like we can look forward to more LG X handsets later this year.

In a tweet by @evleaks, he has revealed that LG has at least four more X handsets planned for 2016. “LG just pre-announced the X cam and X screen for MWC. Coming later in the year: X max, X speed, X style, and X power.” These are known as specialist phones as each device seems to be specialized in whatever their name has suggested.

For example the LG X cam has a dual camera setup, while the LG X screen has a tiny secondary display at the top, which like we said is similar to what the LG V10 is packing. Assuming the rumors are true, it is safe to assume what we can expect from the other X handsets.

For instance maybe the LG X max could be referring to storage space, while the LG X style could focus mostly on the aesthetics of the phone, and the X power might simply be a more powerful variant of all the other X handsets. Either way we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more info, so check back with us at MWC 2016 for the details if there are any to be had.
