Motorola is a name that many of us are familiar with, where they have rolled out their fair share of smartphones in the past. However, it looks like things are about to get spiced up at this year’s edition of Mobile World Congress, as Motorola will be introducing a line of connected wearables known as Verve Life. First revealed at CES earlier this year as you can see in the video above, the whole range will be unveiled officially at MWC next week, with one of the products in the range targeting our four-legged friends.

Dubbed the Verve Retrieve, this is a dog collar that boasts of an IP67 certification for dust and water resistance, where the collar is accompanied by GPS support as well as cellular connectivity in order for one to be able to keep track of where your pooch is all the time. Not only that, the new Verve Retrieve works great in setting up an invisible fence, as it will alert you whenever your dog leaves a designated safe area (via an app, no doubt about it). Do expect the battery on this device to last for up to three years before it requires a replacement.

Pricing details remain unknown as at press time, so stay tuned as we set up shop at MWC this year again!
